July Challenge Theme - A Midsummer's Night Dream

Ileana of Enchanted Beads won our May challenge with her The Food Chain in the Enchanted Garden Pouch. Her prize is the privilege of choosing the theme for the next challenge. Ileana has chosen an enchanted theme for the Etsy BeadWeavers July challenge:

Any style, any technique in beadweaving is welcome
One entry per person
Must be created between May 30, 2008 and July 4th, 2008

ANYTHING GOES!!!

No, the Etsy BeadWeavers are not putting on a Cole Porter musical number. Anything Goes is the theme for the June challenge, chosen by Wolf (DantesSpirit) after she won the Fire and Flowers challenge.

We've had some pretty challenging themes over the past few months: Stormy Weather (March), Fire and Flowers (April), and some of our members are still working on their designs for the Food Chain challenge for May. (Be sure to visit the EBW blog between May 7 and May 14 to vote for your favorite entry.)

The requirements for the Anything Goes challenge are a bit different than usual.
- Your entry should be what you consider your BEST piece.
- Your entry may be any theme, any style, any technique.
- Your entry, as always, must be beadwoven.
- Your entry must be newly created (between now and the listing deadline, June 5) and newly listed during the period of the challenge theme (May 15 through June 5).
- Only ONE entry per person!

You won't want to miss the pattern for this beautiful cuff, created by our own Carol Dean Sharpe (SandFibers) in both single peyote and in three-drop peyote.


Gracing the cover of the magazine is a colorful chain bracelet filled with wire-wrapped dangles, created by another member of our team, Leslie Rogalski (leslie19083). It's not beadwoven, but it's fun!
