December Challenge Theme - Peace Piece

Our "tied for first" October Challenge winners have put their heads together and come up with a great theme for December!

SmadarTreasure and AngelqueCreations tied for first place on the October challenge and collaborated to come up with a theme for the next challenge. Peace and Winter Oylmpics. The Winter Olympics are being sponsored by Vancouver, BC, Canada in February 2010.

Promoting peace and understanding: If Nations only competed at sporting events like the Winter Olympics, peace would reign and conflicts over resources and religion would not exist . Let your imagination take hold and create a "piece" that reflects "peace, understanding, friendly competition and respect for your fellow mankind".

You may start your entry today and must complete and list it by midnight Etsy time, December 5, 2009! This is the last Challenge for 2009 and therefore your last opportunity to fulfill EBW membership requirements: At least once a year enter the EBW Challenge.!

Rules:
Any style, any technique with a majority of beadweaving is welcome. (Pieces submitted for the challenges should be newly-created (by you - not from a pattern) between the date the challenge theme is announced and the 5th of the month when it is due. Do not renew an existing or expired listing for the challenge.)

ONE only entry allowed per EBW Member.

The piece MUST be created between now and December 5, 2009.

October Challenge - Super Power Jewelry - Winner Announced

With fifteen entries in the challenge this month and 257 votes, not only do we have a winner...first place is a tie between two EBW members!

October Challenge - Super Power Jewelry

The Challenge entries for October are both Super and Powerful!! Fifteen very talented Etsy BeadWeavers Members have created these beautiful pieces for our theme " Super Power Jewelry"!
